Summary

A possible bowl barrow 20m in diameter recorded in 1980 by the Ordnance Survey. One of a row of three barrows along the boundary with the former parish of Fordington. Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Full Description

'C' SY 68538842. A ploughed down mound in arable - a probable bowl barrow. Diameter 20.0m approximately, height 0.8m. 'A' and 'C' re-surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <1>

A possible bowl barrow 20m in diameter. Visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs <3>. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
