Full Description

A group of linear and curvilinear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Bartlett's Firs, Arne (1). They are cut by the Swanage Branch Railway, which was opened in 1885, and are therefore considered likely to be the remains of historic trackways. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
