Full Description
A group of parallel linear banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Wareham Town taken in 1945 (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of historic cultivation marks or drainage. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery, this area having since been built over by modern development.
