Full Description

An area of trackways, which may be post medieval or early modern in date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945 and 1953 in the area of West Wood, Studland. The trackways are formed of linear ditches oriented north west-south east. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 270 m by 45 m. (1-2) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
