Full Description
Two probable Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 to the west of Ferry Road, Salterne. The craters measure 9 m in diameter and are surrounded by banks of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
