An area of Second World War training trenches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs between 1945 and 1951 in Day's Park, New Swanage. The trenches are visible over an area measuring approximately 110 m by 25 m. The earthworks consist of four interconnected sections of zig-zag trenches. (1-3) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
