Two Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 on Round Down to the east of Godlingston Wood. The craters measure 7 m and 10 m in diameter and are surrounded by banks of spoil. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
