Full Description
Banks and ditches forming part of a sub-square enclosure, approximately 45m x 47m, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath (1-2). It is considered possible this could be related to modern military activity in this area, although an earlier date for this feature cannot be rule out either. This site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery, the are now being obscured with dense vegetation.
