Full Description

An area of post medieval to early modern drains are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1945 to the south of Valley Road, Coombe. The drains are oriented north west-south east, with short connecting drains oriented south west-north east. They are visible over an area measuring approximately 220 m by 40 m. (1) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
