Full Description

An area of medieval or post medieval ridge and furrow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 2000s to the west of Verney Farm, Langton Matravers. The features are visible over an area measuring approximately 260 m by 150 m and consist of blocks of narrow ridge and furrow and isolated ridges or plough headlands. (1-2) These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
