Summary

A circular mound is visible as an earhtwork on Lidar Imagery of Great Ovens Hill, Wareham St Martin. It is considered likely to be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow and is one of two located adjacent to one another (see also MDO30746).

Full Description

A circular mound, approximately 16m in diameter, is visible as an earhtwork on Lidar Imagery of Great Ovens Hill, Wareham St Martin (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow and is one of two located adjacent to one another (see also MDO30746). This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
