Full Description
Low hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the field to the west of The Lodge, Kingston (1). They are considered to be the result of small-scale limestone quarry dating to the 19th century. The features are still extant on the most recent Google Earth imagery and were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
