A small quarry is visible as earthworks on lidar and aerial photographs to the south of Kingston village. It is marked as 'quarry' on the OS 1st edition map and is considered to be small-scale limestone quarry dating to the 19th century. (1-2). The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
