A linear field boundary of probable historic date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south west of Downshay Wood. (1). The feature appears to have been plough-levelled and is no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
