Fragments of lynchets of possible prehistoric date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the east of Downshay Wood (1-2). The features may be an extension of those described in MDO30707. They are still extant on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
