A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010 to the north east of Eweleaze Farm, Tincleton. The pit is located on Portsdown Chalk Formation and measures 14 by 17 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
