Three areas of Second World War allotments are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s in the southern area of Puddletown. The allotments are located within an area the majority of which has now been built over. (1) Areas were given over to cultivation during the Second World War as part of the "Dig for Victory" campaign. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
