Scattered wood banks of possible medieval or post medieval date are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery of 2010 within Ilsington Wood and as earthworks on a now cleared area of woodland on aerial photographs of 1947. The features are formed of curvilinear banks, visible over an area measuring approximately 975 m by 260 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
