Full Description

Two possible medieval lynchets or field boundaries are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of 1979 to the south west of Southover Farm, Tolpuddle. The lynchets are formed of curving banks oriented south west-north east. They measure up to 360 m in length. (1-2) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
