Full Description
A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010 the north east of Burleston, Tolpuddle. The pit is located on the Portsdown Chalk Formation and measures 20 m by 16 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
