Full Description
A group of three small circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Gore Heath, Wareham St Martin (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of bomb craters or foxholes associated with Second World War activity in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
