Full Description
A group of trackways, earthworks and structures are visible on aerial photographs of Great Ovens Hill, Wareham St Martin (1-2). They are considered likely to be the remains of tank tracks and buildings associated with Second World War military activities in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
