Two circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the northern part of Holton Heath, Wareham St Martin (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of bomb craters associated with Second World War military activity in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
