Full Description
A circular hollow is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the northern part of Holton Heath, Wareham St Martin (1-2). It is considered likely to be the remains of a bomb crater associated with Second World War military activity in this area. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial photographs available to the project.
