Full Description
A group of parallel linear ditches are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs of fields to the north and south of Gore Fields Lane, Wareham St Martin (1-2). They are considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval drainage system. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. Some of these ditches are still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
