Practice slit trenching of possible First World War origin is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Decoy Heath, Wareham St Martin (1). This site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. These features are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, this area now being overgrown with scrub.
