Full Description
A group of structures and earthworks are visible on aerial photographs of a field just to the south-east of Sticklands Farm, Morden (1-2). They are considered likely to be the remains of kilns and quarries associated with Morden Brick Yard, marked at this location on the 1st and 2nd Edition OS Maps (3-4). These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. Some of the pits are still visible as earthworks on the most recent aerial imagery available to the project, the remainder now obscured by scrub.
