Full Description
A hollow and associated external bank are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of a field to the south-east of Whitefield, Morden (1-3). It is possible this could be the remains of a post medieval dewpond. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is still visible as a slight earthwork on the most recent comprehensive aerial photographs avaialable to the project.
