Full Description
A large rectangular pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the west of Frogmore Farm, Morden (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval quarry pit. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is still visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, although now heavily vegetated.
