A pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs to the north of Sticklands Farmhouse, Morden (1). It is considered likely to be the remains of an extractive pit of probable historic origin. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
