Full Description
Four post medieval chalk pits are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery of 2010 on Southover Heath, Affpuddle. The pits are located on the Portsdown Chalk Formation and measure between 22 m by 22 m and 70 m by 55 m. (1) The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
