Full Description
A post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery of 2010 to the north of Ilsington Wood, to the south of Puddletown. The pit is located on Portsdown Chalk Formation and measures 38 by 24 m. (1) This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
