Full Description
Bovington Camp has been a training camp since 1916 and is the home of the Armoured Forces of the British Army . Buildings dating to the First and Second World Wars which have since been demolished were mapped from historic aerial photographs during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project (1-5). Other features plotted included slit trenches and drainage systems associated with removed buildings (MDO30439) and possible air-raid shelters (MDO30440).
