Full Description
An early twentieth-century military installation is visible as extant structures on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1946 (1-2). The site comprises two circular platforms, 8-10 across, with a linear structure running northward towards four associated buildings. The features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are no longer visible on recent Dorset CC digital aerial photographs, the area being covered in trees and scrub (3).
