A prehistoric ring ditch (28m across) is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the WSW of Woodman's Cross. It is considered likely to be the site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age round barrow (1). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
