Summary

A linear bank and ditched feature, possibly forming the northern side of a large curvilinear enclosure is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on areial photographs to the north-east of Woodman's Cross. Several mounds lie in close association. The features lie in the vicinity of two known Bronze Age barrows (MDO8343 and MDO8353), and may therefore be of prehistoric origin.

Full Description

A linear bank and ditched feature, possibly forming the northern side of a large curvilinear enclosure is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on areial photographs to the north-east of Woodman's Cross. Several monds lie in close association. The features lie in the vicinity of two known Bronze Age barrows (MDO8343 and MDO8353), and may therefore be of prehistoric origin. (1).
