Full Description
A 'Chalk Pit' is marked on the OS 1st Edition map to the north-west of Newburgh Farm. Two pits are visible as low earthworks on aerial photogtaphs and lidar in this vicinity. (1-2). The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
