The probable site of a Second World War bomb crater is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 to the south-west of Giddy Green, East Burton. (1). The feature is no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
