The probable sites of two Second World War bomb craters are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1946 at what is now Coltsclose Corner, Winfrith Heath (1). The features are no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
