Full Description
The probable site of a Second World War bomb crater is visible as a bare soil mark on aerial photographs taken in 1946 on Winfrith Heath (1). The site of the feature has since been built over and no longer visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
