Full Description
'G'. Ditched bowl barrow 101 feet in diameter by 9 feet high, with a ditch 15 feet wide by 2 feet deep. <1> <3>
'G' SY 68818625. Bowl barrow in excellent state of preservation. Diameter 40.0m. overall and height 3.6m., with encircling ditch 4.0m. wide and 0.3m. deep visible on all except the north side. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. See ground photographs. <4>
Visible on aerial photographs <1> as a 38m diameter earthwork ring ditch with an internal mound. Digtally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.

Diameter 40.0m, ht. 3.6m with encircling ditch 4.0m wide and 0.3m deep visible on all except the N side. Extraordinarily well preserved. Management restricted to mowing and spraying. Ditch destroyed by a car park on the N. N-S road passes immediately E of the barrow. 1/2/A
