Full Description
'F'. Bowl barrow 79 feet diameter by 4 1/2 feet high. Its height has been increased slightly for use as a golf tee, and it is cut on the south by a bunker. <1> <3>
Bowl barrow, diameter 24.0m. and height 2.2m. slightly mutilated by golf course landscaping. No visible ditch. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. See ground photographs. <4>
Bowl barrow on Came Down Golf Course, damaged by bunker on south side. Otherwise well preserved. Visible on aerial photographs <1> as an earthwork mound 17m in diameter. Digtally plotted for the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
