Trackways running north-south across the north-east of Highwood Heath, East Stoke, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (1). They are considered likely to be historic in date. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, this area now being under modern conifer plantation.
