Summary

A circular mound is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath taken in 1945. It is considered possible this could be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow.

Full Description

A circular mound, approximately 17.3m indiameter, is visible as a low earthwork on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath taken in 1945 (1-2), located at NGR 89975 87018. It is considered possible this could be the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. It is not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project.
