Full Description
A group of military slit trenches are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath, Arne (1-2). They are considered likely to be associated with First World War activities in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, having since been levelled by modern quarrying.
