Summary

A sub-square enclosure is visible as a cropmarked bank on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath, Arne. A gap in its northen side may be an entranceway. It is possible this could be the remains of a late prehistoric enclosure.

Full Description

A sub-square enclosure, measuring approximately 24.9m x 23.9m, is visible as a cropmarked bank on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath, Arne (1-2). A gap in its northen side may be an entrance way. It is possible this could be the remains of a late prehistoric enclosure. This feature was digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
