A military slit trench is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Worgret Heath, Arne (1-2). It is considered likely to be associated with First World War activities in this area . These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial photographs available to the project.
