A group of rectilinear structures and trackways are visible on aerial photographs of Binnegar taken in 1945 (1). They are considered likely to be part of a military site associated with Second World War activity in this area. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial imagery available to the project, having since been demolished or removed.
