Full Description

A group of linear ditches are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of Eight-Hatch Plantation (1). They are considered likely to be the remains of post medieval drainage ditches. These features were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project. They are not visible on the most recent comprehensive aerial images available to the project, much of this area now being obscurred by modern plantation.
