A group of four roughly oval mounds are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of fields just to the north of Roundabout. They are of uncertain date and funtion. Their close proximity to a Second World War military site (MDO30174) suggests they could be associated with it. Alternatively they may be natural geological features.

A group of four roughly oval mounds are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of fields just to the north of Roundabout (1). They are of uncertain date and funtion. Their close proximity to a Second World War military site (MDO30174) suggests they could be associated with it. Alternatively they may be natural geological features. They were digitally plotted during the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
